About Jill
As the Controller at Southport, Jill brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the accounting field. Graduating with a degree in Economics and Accounting from University of California, Santa Barbara, Jill went on to obtain a CPA license, solidifying her commitment to excellence in financial management.
Prior to joining Southport, Jill honed her skills in Los Angeles as a Senior Auditor for an entertainment-based accounting firm, performing audits on behalf of the WGA, DGA, and SAG-AFTRA. Building on this foundation, she then served as a Senior Accountant for a digital advertising and media company that specialized in viewer engagement across streaming networks.
Jill’s professional experience brings meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills. With a focus on streamlining processes and driving accuracy and efficiency within the business, she has led the implementation of new management information systems and reporting, enabling the company to optimize performance across all departments.
Outside of work, Jill enjoys spending time with her husband and their Golden Retriever, Garvey. They love exploring the Channel Islands and Lake Tahoe on their boat and spending quality time with friends in Santa Barbara.
