About Kimi
Kimi brings over a decade of experience in events and marketing to her position as Marketing Manager for Southport. In 2011, she graduated Cum Laude from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and concentration in Tourism. She started her career as a Special Events Cast Member and Emcee for the Walt Disney Company, while also working for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Since then, her work has included developing marketing strategies, planning a variety of events, and coordinating logistics. Her range of past employers and clients includes tourism destinations (domestic and international), hotel brands, municipalities in Arizona, non-profit organizations, and automotive companies. She also coordinates weddings and published a book about wedding planning on a budget in 2016.
Outside of her work for Southport, Kimi enjoys staying active (running, cycling, and dancing), choreographing musicals, and spending time with her family.
