The Challenge

Since 2010, Southport Marketing has been a leading Experiential Marketing agency in supporting the local auto dealer associations (LMAs-Local Marketing Associations) with creative and cost-effective marketing solutions.

National and Regional Auto Shows are the one place where auto manufacturers can showcase their new and various vehicle models in front of the national press and car enthusiasts annually. They provide a unique marketing opportunity for many Local Dealer Associations who support thousands of dealers throughout the country.

Southport Marketing has helped to create and produce an Auto Show strategy and activation plans, along with executing Auto Shows and Ride & Drives for the Chevrolet Local Dealer Associations and Electra Meccanica on a regional level.

Both Chevrolet and Electra Meccanica Solo leaned on Southport to devise a strategy and activation plan to execute ten (10) Auto Shows with Ride & Drives that focused on the consumer experience with their various vehicle products.

Likewise, the Southport Marketing team supported Chevy Dealers and Electra Meccanica Solo EV brand team by providing with Event managers, Product Specialists and Brand Ambassadors greeting, engaging, and educating consumers, vehicle cleaning and detailing, staging, and logistics, producing dedicated creative design and fabricating of display properties and dealer signage, while managing and producing the on-site consumer driving experiences and lead collection during the duration of each auto show.

Through the Auto Show program over 12,000 auto enthusiasts walked away with a fun, engaging and educational, driving experience. In turn, Chevrolet and Electra Meccanica Solo had the ability to showcase their vehicle product-lines to over 40,000 consumers.
