TaylorMade Golf
The Challenge
TaylorMade set out to give amateur golfers access to the same tour-level fitting and club-building experience trusted by PGA Tour professionals like Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, and bring it directly to them. Unlike a standard demo day, which offers club trials without professional fitting and delivers product weeks later, the TaylorMade Tour Experience delivers a custom-built club on-site and on the same day.
Managing a program like this takes a large logistical effort: operating three separate tour routings, shipping product weekly, and running events four to five days per week across different markets nationwide. Managing fitters, club builders, scheduling, and inventory at that scale required tight coordination and integrated technology systems across Oracle, Excel, MFE, and Domo.
Program Overview
The TaylorMade Tour Experience parks directly on the driving range at golf courses across the country, bringing the brand’s flagship Kingdom fitting experience to golfers in markets beyond its Carlsbad, CA headquarters. Each stop offers a one-on-one fitting session using Trackman and GC Quad launch monitors, followed by on-site club building with metalwoods and wedges assembled right in front of the customer, and irons ordered to custom spec to be delivered directly to the golfer.
Fitters are trained through TaylorMade’s Kingdom Academy and use proprietary apps to track performance data and make data-driven recommendations in real time. Behind the scenes, we manage inventory and order logistics, tracks builds as a checks-and-balances layer, and generate reporting across all three tours.
With Southport Marketing having partnered with TaylorMade on this tour for over four years fully owning the management of tour logistics end to end, scaling the program from a single-region beta to a full nationwide operation. The partnership covers all of SPM’s core competencies and pushed us to grow as we handled tour routing, driving and club build staffing, tour management, creative asset distribution, and inventory management.

Results
In 2025, Southport and TaylorMade carried out over 30,000 fittings across 396 events held nationwide, spanning 38 states. Custom clubs were built on-site, providing each customer with a same-day, tour-quality product ready for immediate use.
