Alaska Day at San Francisco Giants Stadium

Each season, fans look forward to Alaska Day at the San Francisco Giants. Not only do they receive the highly sought-after BOGO (Buy One, Get One) Alaska Airlines flight offer upon entry into the stadium, but they also enjoy festive fan activities before the game. Alaska Airlines creates memorable brand experiences with this experiential brand activation campaign.

Results:

Southport created an unforgettable brand experience for Alaska Airlines with an experiential Game Show event theme that engaged guests with fun activities and giveaways, including:

Alaska Game Show Trivia:

Fans had the opportunity to test their knowledge of travel, destinations, and all things Alaska. Alaska’s Hype Man hosted the game show and selected contestants to go head to head and compete to win various Alaska prizes, such as free travel vouchers, Alaska Lounge passes, and additional BOGO certificates.

Alaska Spin Wheel:

Guests spun the oversized Alaska Airlines Prize Wheel to win one of several promotional gifts:

  • Alaska Airlines x San Francisco Giants Trucker Hats
  • Alaska Airlines Luggage Tags
  • Alaska Aviator Sunglasses
  • Alaska Airlines x San Francisco Giants Baseball T-Shirts
  • BOGO Flight Offers

Photo Opportunity & Promotion:

Fans could take photos in front of the Alaska airplane wing using various baseball-themed props. Fans were then encouraged to spread word-of-mouth & share their photo via social media, using #iFlyAlaska, to enter to win a pair of free flight vouchers from Alaska Airlines.

Live DJ Booth & Entertainment:

Guests enjoyed live music and entertainment from Alaska’s DJ booth.

The celebration continued once inside the stadium with in-game branding sponsorships, announcements, and additional in-stadium giveaways sponsored by Alaska Airlines.
